It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Irene Schmeilski of Trivoli, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Marshall and Mary Marshall (Bishop); her husband William G. Schmeilski; and her siblings, Richard Kerkhove and Shirley Lauer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Berry of Hanna City, IL, Patricia Koehler of Glasford, IL, Vickie Schmeilski of Peoria, IL and Wendy Schmeilski of Bellevue, IL; her grandchildren, Kevin, Karen, Joseph, David, Michelle, Leon, Anthony and Lisa; and her brother Gary Kerkhove. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude for her great-granddaughter, Ruby.
