He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eberley and Velma Eberley (Feinholz); and his sister Norma Jean Sipfle. He is survived by: his children, David Eberley Sr. (Brenda), Martin "Drew" Eberley (Bunnie) and Aleta (John); his grandchildren, David Eberley Jr. (Taylor), Maggie Black (Steve), Marcy Roberts (Jarrod), Lexie Davis (Zach) and Annemarie Litwiller; and his great grandchildren, Steven, Daniel, Denver, Whitley, Layla and Zade'. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
