He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Loyet; his sons, Curtis Weider and Stuart Weider; his grandson Lance Becker; and his siblings, Valeria Frey and Alfred Weider.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Becker (Darrell) of Highland and Annette Mills (Lowell) of Marine; his daughter-in-law Paula Weider; his grandchildren, Amanda Wolf (Jeff), Lauren Switala (Kevin), Angela Kueper (Kassidy), Sarah Weider (Carl Day), Emily Pingsterhaus (Michael), Eric Smith (Lauren) and Chelsea Zelasko (Benjamin); and his sister Dawn M. Brenkendorf (Leo) of Troy. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Book Hotel St. Jerome Catholic Church (511 S Main St, Troy, IL 62294). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to either St. Jerome Catholic Church (https://osvhub.com) or American Cancer Society.
