He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes; his parents, Jacob Becherer and Augusta Becherer (Meyer); his siblings, Clifford, Harold, Lavera, Clarence, Jonelia, Jacob and Mildred "Mim"; his sons-in-law, Tom Prine and Leigh Burns; and his granddaughter Melissa Huff (Burns).
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Prine (late Thomas) of Troy, Illinois, Sharen Breyer (Michael) of Troy, Illinois and Karen Burns (late Leigh, Jr.) of Troy, Illinois; and his brother Melvin "Mac" Becherer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
