With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jack A. Sockoch of Troy, Illinois, whose life came to an end on June 17, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kathleen "Cathy" Sockoch; his parents, Joe Cook and Mary "Fonnie" Cook; his sister Phyllis Tudor; and his siblings-in-law, Chip Tudor, Pete Johnson, Jim Greathouse, Carole Gough, Beverly Johnson and Betty Lou Borup.
He is survived by: his children, Cherie Love of Troy, IL, Ken Sockoch (Jeannie) of Edwardsville, IL and Cyndi Rutherford (Jeff) of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Rici Love, Kristy Mitchell (Adam), Emily Rutherford Ross and Matthew Sockoch (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Aria Mitchell and Bennett Sockoch; his sisters, Patsy Johnson of Carmi, IL and Dorothy Greathouse of Carmi, IL; and his brothers-in-law, Buddy Borup of Uniontown, KY and Jerry Gough of Morganfield, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Valley Baptist Church (522 Maple St, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
