He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Hoef; his grandparents, Albert, Ann Klarich, Charles, Barb Hoef, Susan and Jerry Kekel; and his uncle Chuck Hoef.
He is survived by: his mother Terese "Terri" Hoef (Klarich) of Troy; his brother Kevin Hoef of St. Louis; his aunts and uncles, David, Nancy Klarich of Collinsville, Cheryl, Keith Arbuckle of Michigan and Renee Hoef of Michigan; and his great-aunt Anita Sweeney of Michigan. He is also survived by many cousins; other extended family.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (200 N Lange Ave, Maryville, IL 62062).
