He is survived by: his parents, Cecil Payne and Barbara Payne of Troy, IL; his sister Connie Gerstenecker (Bruce) of Collinsville, IL; his nephew Alexander Scott Gerstenecker; his niece Jennifer Leigh Gerstenecker; his uncle Charles Payne; and his cousins, Diane Custer (Duane), Michael Payne, Edward Payne (Susie) and Lori Fillback (Jeff).
