He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Murrie and Lillian Lucille Trover (Thomas); his son-in-law Mike Crews; and his siblings, Edward Murrie "Junior" Trover, Jr. and Ludene Treat.

He is survived by: his wife Hattie Roberson; his daughters, Julie Crews of Ozark, Cindy Sisk (Warren) of Ozark, Angela Stover (Bryan) of Pittsburg and Alison Gardner of Scottsville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Joshua Stafford of Vienna, Jerrah Ellenson (Brett) of Scottsdale, Brady Arnett (Brooklyn) of Reidland, Jake Gardner of Scottsville, Colton Stover of Pittsburg, Reed Gardner of Scottsville and Olivia Stover of Pittsburg, Illinois; his great grandchild Asher Arnett; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Trover of Harrisburg and Alice Makin of Tiptonville, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
