He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester M. Dewey and Mary E. Roedell French; his wife Katherine D. Hood; his children, Bonnie Dewey of Tuscola and Byran Dewey (Tammy) of Arcola; and his siblings, Rory Dewey, Dan Strandboe and Grace Dewey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home (705 S Main St, Tuscola, IL 61953). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
