He was predeceased by : his parents, John Thomas and Vera Guth Thomas; and his sister Patricia Cockrell. He is survived by : his children, Chip Thomas of Roanoke, VA and Erica Jackson of New Concord, KY. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
