With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas C. McCrory of Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McCrory and Carolyn McCrory; and his sister-in-law Christine McFadyen. He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Cindy) of Tuscola; his children, Carly McCrory-McKay (Tate) of Champaign, Sarah Wasiloski (Shane) of Tuscola, Jackson McCrory (Taylor) of Sadorus and Halle Kerns (Chandler) of Tuscola; his grandchildren, Leona, Hazel, Myles, Adalynn, Baker, Eleanor and Gemma; his mother-in-law Mary Jane Jackson of Tuscola; his siblings, David McCrory (Julie) of Tuscola and Kathy Gentry (Steve) of Sadorus; and his in-laws, Jane Alagna (Steve), Jeff McFadyen (Barbara) and Norma Tavares (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and close lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Doug McCrory Memorial Tree Fund established at First Mid Bank & Trust, 410 S. Main Street, Tuscola.
