He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Roy and Geneva Mae Rideout Wilhelm; his wife Betty J. Wilhelm; and his daughter Joni Ogbara. He is survived by: his children, Janice Ochs (Dan) of Oakland, Jacki McNamara (Mike) of Hammond and Rusty Wilhelm (Kelly) of Atwood; and his sisters, Rita Jean Brown of Decatur and Linda Kay Hurt of Adel, IA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
