She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Bechtel and Frances M. Bechtel (Eagan); her brothers, John Bechtel and Sam Bechtel; and her sister-in-law Barb Bechtel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Erica Sherer (Adam) and Elizabeth Henningsen (Andy); her grandchildren, Reese, Nolan, Dereon, Kyrie Sherer, Maggie, Emma, Amelia, Charles, Jonathan, Josephine Henningsen and John Waldrop; and her siblings, Denny Bechtel, Dottie Browning (James Flenniken), Scott Bechtel (Lisa) and Jeff Bechtel (Debbie Bathe).
