It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas D. Bennett of Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell A. Bennett and Doris E. Bennett (Carpenter). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Bender (late Timothy) of Villa Grove, Robert (Cathleen) of Washington, IL and Sarah Bennett (Suzi Vilkman) of Tampere, Finland; his grandchildren, Megan Kreie (Jordan) of Indianapolis, Samuel Bender of Villa Grove, Olivia Bennett (Welby Matthews) of Bloomington and Andrew Bennett of Washington, IL; and his close friend Carol Beals of Tuscola.

Memorials may be made to Tuscola United Methodist Church and the church's music ministries.
