He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmine Haar (Schramm) and Theodore Haar; his wife Dorothy Wynia; and his daughter Deanna. He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Thomas and Jerald Haar. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Marengo-Union Funeral Home (505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL 60152). The military honors was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
