We are sad to announce that, on January 28, 2026, at the age of 85, Norma Lynn Karsten (Union, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Norma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Norma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Landis and Leona Landis (Beyer); her husband Ronald Karsten; and her brother David Landis. She is survived by: her children, Christine Mavis, Carla Weiss (William), Timothy Karsten (Penny), Thomas Karsten (Dana Lee), Patricia Griebel (John) and Pamela Alexander (Todd); and her sister Gayle Landis. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
