With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mitchell Lee Maynard in Unity, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maynard and Charlotte Maynard (Hartman); and his siblings, Raymond Maynard (Arlene), Marilyn Sieben and Scott Maynard (Rita).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Jared Maynard (Anna), Tramere Angel (Melissa) and Tonisha Angel; his grandchildren, Lyra, Scarlett, Travontai, Travarai, Marconna, Marcellus, R'Manee and C'zarreya; his sisters-in-law, Arlene and Rita Maynard; and his close friends, Marty Flaherty and Jordan Stone. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
