She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sampson Jr. and Geneva Sampson. She is survived by: her family Quenton Hillsman; her husband Quenton Hillsman; her children, Christopher J. Burney, Dante Burney, Rodney Faulk, Caleb Hillsman, Mackenzie Hodges (Winston) and Gabriel Hillsman; her grandchildren, Sophia, Asher, Brooklyn D., Kendall, Winston Hodges III and Blake; her siblings, Jimmie Sampson (Linda) of Paterson, Myra Juanita Wilson (Michael) of Chicago, Van Sampson of Fayetteville, N. C., Jan Sampson of Rantoul, IL, Danny Sampson (Sandra) of Fayetteville, N. C. and Teresa Ann Sampson of Lumberton, N. C.; her nieces and nephews, Bryant, James, Danny Sampson II, Kyla (Roland), Eboni, Diandra (Kyle), Kionda and Geneva; her siblings, Randy and Rosilyn; and her nephew Rahji. She is also survived by one uncle, two aunts, along with a host of cousins, friends, church family, ministry partners, and spiritual sons and daughters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vineyard Church (1500 N Lincoln Ave, Urbana, IL 61801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
