He is survived by: his mother Alberta Brown (Wheatley); his wife Lawanda Wheatley; his children, Ilona Flournoy (Delmer), Laticia Wheatley, Crystal Wheatley, Antwoine High, Stephanie Pickett and Sean High; his siblings, Charles "Wayne" Jefferson (Sally), Marvin Brown (Carla), Gregory Wheatley (Nancy), Kenneth Washington and Miyon Brown; his aunt Amelia Williams; his grandchildren, Latasha, Taylor, Monterius, Malik, Pierre and Diamond; and his great grandchild Lyric. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (1310 N 6th St, Champaign, IL 61820).
