With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Perry in Urbana, Illinois, born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Perry and Ersie Perry (Gaines); and his siblings, Dan, Dewaine, Bev, Tootie, Gene, Allen and Rose Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, William Lester and Brandi Clemens (Scott); his grandchildren, Makayla Jordan (Wayne), Haylee Broga (Dustin) and Max Clemens; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Abby, Christian, Ava, Michael, Zoey, Mackayle, Mason and Ryker; his friend Bill W.; and his siblings, William Perry (Bonnie), David Perry and Susie Cox (Gary).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Jim's name to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital or the Daniel Perry Scholarship Fund at Parkland College.
