With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Ratliff (Urbana, Illinois), who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Ratliff and Ida Ratliff; and his siblings, Inez MacManus (Mack), William Ratliff (Bud), Ernestine Brunson (Donnie), Ethel Mann (Joe), Daisy Gardner (Dee), Peggy Graham (Henry), Shanda Brock and Ben Gardner (Bernice).
He is survived by: his wife Lola Ratliff (Robinson); his children, Wanda Redmon (Nate), Scynthea Ratliff and Debbie Ratliff; his grandchildren, Harry Martin Jr. (Jessica), Page Martin, Nolan Martin and Jayden Redmon; his siblings, Jesse Ratliff (Barb) and Helen Brock (Duck); and his sister-in-law Paulette Sanders (Fred). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, forty-one nieces and nephews.
Donations may also be made to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund in Joe's honor.
