He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie McManus and Eugene McManus. He is survived by: his children, John "Jay" Blair McManus, Jr. (Amy) and Kelly Lee Musgrove (Chad); his grandchildren, Liv Anna McManus and Daniel John Welling; and his nephews, Eugene Joseph McManus III, Peyton Meriwether McManus and Porter Telfair McManus.
