He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Viriginia Ellis and Joseph Leroy Love, Sr.; and his children, James, Steve, Katy and David. He was also cherished by his wife and children, 8 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana-Champaign (309 W Green St, Urbana, IL 61801).
