She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Wascher and Betty Wascher (Taylor); her husband Gary Ashby; and her sons, Guy Ray Dalton, Harold Dalton, Sonny Dalton and Barry Dalton.

She is survived by: her children, Kelly Jo Ashby (Sweet Hall) of Urbana, Toby Dalton (Freda) of Roberts, Delinda Dalton-Coy of Paris and Tony Ashby of Mahomet; her grandsons, Andrew Ashby (Ernyse), Dustin Coy and Eric Coy; her great grandchildren, Aziyah Ashby of Andrew, Ashby Jr. and Rory Coy; and her stepgreat-grandson Sergio "Peanut" Baitley.
