As we bid Margaret farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Margaret is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Rammelt and Ruth Rammelt (Raffenberger); and her husband Raymond L. Lawrence. She is survived by: her children, Philip Clark (Sarah) of Norfolk, VA, Diane Eddy (David) of Sherrill, IA, Luann Clark (John Gallagher) of Huntington Beach, CA and John Lawrence (Claudia) of Champaign, IL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
