He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Poplis and George Welling; his sister Renata Bishop; and his children, Robert Welling and Wendy Welling.

He is survived by : his son Rick Welling (Michelle); and his grandsons, Daniel Welling and Tanner Musgrove.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan Memorial (1304 Regency Dr W, Savoy, IL 61874). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at the same location.
