She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Bennett and Lela Bennett. She is survived by: her significant other Robert L. McCartney; her children, Bob McCartney (Deb), Scott McCartney (Celia), Sherri Johnson Voges (Tim) and Linda Murphy (Mike); her stepfather Straut Brownfield; her granddaughter Kristin McCartney; and her son-in-law Scott Johnson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. E. Franks Center (127 Washington St, Philo, IL 61864).
