She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Nelson and Anna Rupp Nelson; her husband Robert "Bob" L. Smith; and her brother Vernon Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Smith of Urbana and Bryan Smith (Penny) of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Melissa Schrock (Kenny) of St. Joseph, Jessy Smith (Ronelle) of Skiatook and Zachary Smith; and her great grandchildren, Tea, Jordan, Makynzie, Barrett and Remington.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morgan Memorial (1304 Regency Dr W, Savoy, IL 61874). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (100-120 Marty Dr, Milford, IL 60953).
