She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fitzsimmons and Opal Fitzsimmons (Mabis); her husband Harry E. Shaw; her close friend Ray Meyers; her daughter Denise Moore; and her brothers, Robert Fitzsimmons, Richard Fitzsimmons and James Fitzsimmons.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Shaw (Christina) of Rantoul, IL, Doreen Wilson of Urbana, IL and Melissa Sommers (Tim) of Mahomet, IL; her grandchildren, Robert Shaw, Amy Durrance, Jamie Bialeschki and Jenifer Sommers; and her sister Chery Fitzsimmons Stivers of St Joseph.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
