He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Dale Edwards and Carol Edwards of Urbana, Illinois.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Edwards of Urbana; his children, Joshua Edwards (Melvina) and Elizabeth Edwards; his grandchildren, Haven, A'lonna, Makenna and Ace; his siblings, Cheryl Wendt, Cathy Barnett (Bill) and Alan Edwards; and his pet Max.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the TBD Webber Street Christian Church (107 S Webber St, Urbana, IL 61802). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Webber Street Christian Church (107 S Webber St, Urbana, IL 61802). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Grandview Memorial Gardens (Champaign, IL 61822).
