He was predeceased by : his wife Frannie. He is survived by : his children, Susan Estergard, Kathy Mullen (Mark), Hank Sanford (Marla), Tricia Walker (Glenn) and Joanie Rankin (Darren). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to CU Church at 107 S. Webber St. Urbana 61801.
