He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Reichen and Katherine Reichen (Schafer); his wife Dorene Maggio Roach; and his siblings, Herbert, Walter Reichen, Esther Gingerich, Edna Johnson and Irma Tarman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lorene Christopherson (Art Urbanc) of La Salle, Vicki Zec (Nick) of Bradenton, FL, Mary Unger (Ronald) of Sarasota, FL and Catherine Smudzinski of La Salle. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
