As we bid Stephanie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stephanie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Stephen H. Dastrup. She is survived by: her mother Rhonda Dastrup (Jonas) of Sheffield; her husband Ken of Utica; her daughters, Emily, Angelina and Kendal Nushardt of Utica; and her siblings, Stacy Johnson (Lee) of Northern Illinois and John Dastrup (Krissy) of Bartlett. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home (650 5th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (1S150 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189).
