He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon "Cotton" Heusohn and Ardell Heusohn Mueller; his brother Dale Heusohn; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Daniels, Pauletta Heusohn and Edwin Bair.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Heusohn; his children, Denise Evans, Dawn Brown (Tim) and Jeffrey Heusohn (Jennifer Bivins); his grandchildren, Audrey, Adrian Brown, Brady and Rosalie Heusohn; his siblings, Shirley Daniels, Larry Heusohn (Debbie) and Michael Heusohn (Tina); and his sisters-in-law, Cindy Heusohn and Marlene Bair. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
