It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Ruth Weimer-Czapla of Valmeyer, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edwin Harold (Elizabeth Cicelia Farrow); and her siblings, Elizabeth Wilburn, Lolita Diveley, Mary Inerra, Dorothy Mudd, Dan Diveley, Tom Diveley and Edwin Diveley.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Czapla; her children, Patrick Weimer (Meghan) of Valmeyer, IL., Christina Shacklette (Justin) of St. Louis, MO., Jennifer Sandbach (William) of St. Louis, MO. and Elise Escoto (Chavo) of St. Louis, MO.; her sisters, Clara Brinley (Al) of Maryville, IL., Veronica Dill (Frank) of Maryville, IL. and Cecilia Hamby (Carson) of Mexico Beach, FL.; her brother-in-law Glenn Mudd of Houston, TX.; her grandchildren, Aiden, Sidney Shacklette, Haley Sandbach (Keandre Hamblin Sr.), Milo and Thiago Escoto; and her great grandchild Keandre Hamblin Jr. Diana.
