With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judith A. Vogt of Valmeyer, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Perry "Bud" Vogt; her grandson Brandon Vogt; her parents, Virgil J. Galeski and Katherine E. Galeski; and her sister Mary "Puddin" Laub (Tom).
She is survived by: her children, Laura Mortimore (David), Michael P. Vogt (Keli), James Vogt (Kim), Angie Wiegard (Dale) and Tom Vogt (Tammy); her grandchildren, Katie, Bryan Mortimore, Camden Vogt, Tegan, Dalton Wylde, Colby, Drew Vogt, Claire Burmester (Devin), Matt Wiegard, Megan and Emily Vogt; her great grandchildren, Emerson and Briggs Burmester; her brother James Galeski; and her sister-in-law Trudi Rohlfing (Allyn). She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (101 S Meyer Ave, Valmeyer, IL 62295).
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Humane Society of Monroe County or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
