It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas David Wittenbrink of Valmeyer, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Emery Jean Faith Wittenbrink; and his grandparents, Eugene R., Irene Meister, Anthony and O'Linda "Dolly" Wittenbrink.

He is survived by: his significant other Mallory Origliosso; his children, Andria Wittenbrink, Alexander Wittenbrink, Knox Wittenbrink and Maizie Wittenbrink; his stepdaughters, Angela Dixon (Jimmy) and Josie Origliosso; his grandchildren, Taiden Wittenbrink, Novea Walker, D'Shawn Duncan Jr. and Alaia Dixon; his parents, Karen Wittenbrink (Robert) and David Wittenbrink; and his sisters, Mattie Malone and Molly Malone. He is also survived by many aunts & uncles.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
