It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca S. Heusohn of Valmeyer, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Heusohn; her son Curtis J. Heusohn; her parents, George Lloyd and Gloria Lloyd; her siblings-in-law, Tina Lloyd, James, Shirley Heusohn, Delbert and Janet Scheibe; and her parents-in-law, Alfred and Marie Heusohn.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Heusohn (Beth) and Jamie Whelan (Marty Seitz); her grandchildren, Marcus John Heusohn and Jodie Lynn Whelan; her children, Janson John Whelan, Kadence and Khloe Seitz; and her brothers, Doug Lloyd, Wesley Lloyd (Lisa) and Bruce Lloyd. She is also survived by aunts; uncles; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins; companion.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
