He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hopps (Knowlton); his children, Roger (Jill) and Tanya (Jeff Lucas); his grandchildren, Ashleigh Hussey (Nate), Alyssa Balbuena (Felix), Raeann Stouffer (Mark), Trevor Mills (Macee), Jake Lucas (Lindsay), Baylee Hopps (Veronica), Max Lucas and Kijah Lucas; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Walter and Charlie Hussey; his grandchildren, Macklin, Maeve Mills, Easton, Sienna Lucas, Savannah, Banks Stouffer and Codison Mills; his siblings, Terry Hopps (Cindy) and Karen Walker (Douglas); and his sister-in-law Chris Hopps.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bache Memorial Chapel. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bache Chapel in Van Orin, Illinois (27920 County Rd 2600 E, Van Orin, IL 61374).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaMoille Fire Department or LaMoille Ambulance.
