Barbara Smail Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Smail of Vandalia, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora L. Langley Sr. and Jessie E. Langley (Bafford); her son-in-law Fred Warden; and her siblings, Dorothy Ekiss, John Langley, Junior Langley and Howard Langley.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Warden of Farina; her grandchildren, Damon Bowles (Jessamie) of Vandalia, Jessie Borgini (Michael) of Hymera, IN and Jacob Warden (Abby) of Strasburg; and her great grandchildren, London Bowles, Winston Borgini, Gabrielle Warden, Wesley Warden, Wiley Warden, Walker Warden and Meredith Warden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to SBL Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care.
