He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gerald Duckworth Sr. and Marion Aline Forbes (Dunnagan). He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Tate (Rodney Lape) and Amber Weischedel (Jake) of Vandalia; his sisters, Debbie Wodtka (Dennis) of Bingham and Becky Pryor (Randy) of Vandalia; his grandchildren, Courtney Womack (Chaston), Michelle Sussenbach, Gabriel, Dakira, Greyson and Taurean Weischedel; and his great grandchildren, Charleigh, Carter and Cortlyn. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Sons of Service- H.I.S.K.I.D.S. Charity or Evans Cemetery.
