He was predeceased by : his parents, Jess Sarchet and Vivian Sarchet (Hall). He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Sarchet; his son Jess Sarchet II (Elsie); his grandchildren, Jessie, Noah and Jonah; and his children, John Sarchet, Jim Sarchet, Angela (Brett Keller) and Christina Sarchet.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
