He was predeceased by: his father William Edward Hobler; and his brother William "Barry" Hobler. He is survived by: his mother Rosamund Hobler (Chilton) of Vandalia; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Hobler of Kansas City, MO, Lynn Bowers of Vandalia and Christine Hobler of Vandalia; and his niece Michelle Koonce (Brad).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
