He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Samuel "Babe" and Eva Ermadelle Grubaugh (Koonce); his wife Janet Marie Logue; and his siblings, Donald Grubaugh, Doris Brule, Norma Ray, Josephine Adams and Elrena Rathbone.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Brown of Vandalia and Norma (Terry Olmstead) of Vandalia; his grandchildren, Clarissa (Zach Longwell) of Salem, Marissa (Jesse Chancellor) of Topeka, KS, Hannah Brown of Vandalia and Jachin Brown of Vandalia; and his great grandchildren, Kathan, Zander, Zayden, Aaliyah and Nova.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the First Pentecostal Church, where Larry was a devout member.
