She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Koonce and Merena Koonce (Jay); her daughter Marcia Barrish; and her siblings, Billy, Donald, Harold, Bob, Keith Koonce, Dorothy Gerhart, Aline Trulock and Arlene Gerwolls.

She is survived by: her husband Charlie Townsend of Vandalia; her son Andy Pryor (Leslie) of Caseyville, IL; her stepchildren, David Townsend (Sandy) of Vandalia and Racie (Greg Keeling) of Mulberry Grove; her grandchildren, Carter, Colin, Breanna, Alexis, Keegan, Zach, Seth, Luke, Dylan and Drew; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Henry, William, Samuel, Trenton and Tillie.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Fayette County Health Department.
