He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edgar and Cora Edgar (Finks); his wife Betty Eileen Reed; his son Anthony Kim Edgar; his sister Geneva Himes (Rollie); and his nephew Larry Himes.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Edgar (Connie) of Vandalia and Kelly Edgar (Teresa) of Keyesport; his daughter-in-law Paula Edgar of Vandalia; his grandchildren, Zachary Edgar, Hannah Edgar, Tyler Edgar, Nichol Scott (Sam), Cody Edgar, Alyssa Miller (George) and Caryssa Wilson (Connor); his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Abigail, Elijah, Willow Scott and Westlyn Miller; and his niece Patricia Rossmell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or for Masses to be offered for him at Mother of Dolors Church.
