He was predeceased by: his parents, Linda Lou Mabry (Sanders) and Larry Mabry; his sister Tanna Pruett; and his grandparents, Harry Holben, Avis Mabry, Marvin and Thelma Sanders.
He is survived by: his family, Susan, Jordan and Macye; his granddaughter Mabry Kate; his sister Jody Goldsboro (Larry); his brother-in-law Joe Pruett; his nephews, Cody Goldsboro (Kayci), Cory Goldsboro (Amanda) and Adam Pruett (Diana); his niece Heidi Dahl (Kris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Koen, Kalli, Rhyan, Hadlee, Camden, Tucker and Marco; and his aunt Sonie Pfulm (Ron).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471).
Memorials may be made to the Vandalia Volunteer Fire Department or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
