She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Craig and Alberta Craig (Hug); her brother Kenneth; and her brother-in-law Ervin Garrison. She is survived by: her husband Merle Kern of Vandalia, IL; her children, Kevin Kern (Cathy) of Vandalia, IL, Carla Finley (Brett) of Springfield, IL and Brian Kern (Beth) of Vandalia, IL; her sister Joyce Garrison; her grandchildren, Craig Kern (Dana), Kayla Ochs (Ryan), Eric Finley (Cecilia), Chris Finley (Angie), Molly Reeter (Dawson) and Megan Kern (Cody Pedigo); and her great grandchildren, Hank, Halle, Owen, Corben, Collin, Giselle, Mia, Emersyn, Maddox, Aria, Rhett and Ellie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
