He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Arndt; his children, Angie Dugan (David) of Vandalia, IL, Shannon Lay (Elvin) of Edwardsville, IL, Robert Garrison II (Kristina) of Vandalia, IL and Toni Cocagne (Pat) of Auburn, IL.; his grandchildren, Lauren Peterson (Kyle), Abby Fabela (Mike), Paige Brennan (Colin), Karsyn Garrison (Mitch Pannitto), Zoe and Jett Cocagne; his great grandchildren, Arthur Peterson, Layla Brennan, Michael Fabela and Margaret Brennan; his sister Ljean Rush of Vandalia, IL.; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Garrison, Edna Alton (Scott), Jill Graumenz (Gary) and Alicia Arndt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Festival of Lights- Vandalia or St. Peter Sportsmans Club-Gatch Lake.
