She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hopkins and Lorraine Hopkins (Dickens); her son Rick Richards; and her siblings, Dick Hopkins, Shirley Wulf, Nancy Queen and Carolyn Fordyce.

She is survived by: her children, Bob Jackson, Paul Campbell, Kevin Poe (Tina), Kent Poe, Karla Woods (Clay) and Alex Azar; and her sister Phyllis Crain. She is also survived by several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Hughes Springs, TX.
